BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH is the largest manufacturer of household appliances in Europe and is one of the world's leading companies in the industry. The group was founded in 1967 as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH (Stuttgart) and Siemens AG (Munich) and generated sales of around EUR 9.7 billion in 2011. Today, BSH has 42 factories in 13 countries in Europe, the USA, Latin America and Asia. Together with a network of sales and customer service companies, e.g. in Latvia, some 70 companies in 49 countries with over 45,000 employees work for BSH.
