Trade fairs

International trade fairs provide export-oriented companies with key platforms for marketing and networking. Germany is a leading trade fair location, hosting around two-thirds of the world's major trade fairs and offering excellent infrastructure. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) supports over 200 international trade fairs annually, and the AHK Baltic States represents German trade fairs in the region.

    Messe Berlin, with €200 million in revenue and 260,000 sqm of space, ranks among the world's top ten highest-grossing trade fair companies and is Germany's fifth-largest.

    Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH hosts around 50 fairs and congresses annually on 87,000 sqm of hall space and 10,000 sqm of open space, attracting 12,000 exhibitors and 900,000 visitors.
