CIS Liepaja SIA is a leading project company comprising Norwegian, Swedish, and Latvian interests, dedicated to driving innovation and sustainable development in hydrogen production. We are proud to announce our groundbreaking project in the Port of Liepaja, Latvia, where we have secured rights to valuable land areas to realize our vision of leading the green transition.

By collaborating with the state-owned power grid company, we have secured reliable access to power resources that will form the foundation of our hydrogen plant based on water electrolysis. Our targeted approach includes the installation of electrolyzers with a capacity of up to 1000 MW, capable of producing over 100,000 tons of hydrogen annually.

We are not only working towards offering a sustainable energy solution but also towards optimizing resource utilization. This means that our products will not only include hydrogen but also valuable by-products such as oxygen and heat. These resources will be channeled and used locally for various purposes, including district heating, contributing to the creation of a more sustainable energy ecosystem.

We have set ambitious goals, and our project is scheduled to be completed by 2029. With a vision to be a driver of positive change and sustainable growth, we commit to delivering innovative and efficient solutions for today's and tomorrow's energy needs.
