About
CIS Liepaja is a leading international project that brings together partners from Latvia, Norway, and Sweden to develop hydrogen production and promote the green transition. The company is implementing one of the most ambitious green energy projects in the Baltics at the Port of Liepāja by installing electrolysis units with a capacity of up to 1000 MW and plans to produce more than 100,000 tons of hydrogen per year. The project also envisions using by-products – oxygen and heat – for local needs, thereby strengthening a sustainable energy ecosystem. Completion is planned by 2029.
