Commerzbank opened its own representative office in Vilnius in December 2024, serving as a regional hub for Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The office focuses on corporate clients and provides local access to Commerzbank’s long-standing expertise, particularly in trade and project financing for German-Baltic business relations. It also fosters collaboration with public institutions and the regional financial sector.

The representative office does not offer traditional banking services such as accounts or loans. Instead, it acts as a strategic local interface: the team in Vilnius maintains close relationships with authorities, associations, chambers of commerce, and local banks, serving as a strong link to the region.

With a global network in over 40 countries and a leading role in financing German foreign trade (approx. 30% market share), Commerzbank brings extensive international transaction experience to the Baltic financial landscape. The Vilnius office highlights the bank’s strategic commitment, strengthening bilateral economic relations with one of the region’s most important trading partners – Germany.
