IHK Constance / Chamber of Industry and Commerce Hochrhein-Bodensee

The IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee is an institution of the local economy and was created in 1973 as part of the administrative reform of Baden-Württemberg from the two chambers of commerce in Constance and Hochrhein. Its district comprises the administrative districts of Constance, Waldshut and Lörrach. Today, with its headquarters in Constance and the main office in Schopfheim, it serves around 40,000 member companies from industry, trade and services. As the "self-administration of the economy", the IHK assumes a multitude of state tasks. More than 2,000 volunteers from industry and educational institutions help the 85 permanent employees.
