The Lithuanian Red Cross has been a key humanitarian organisation in Lithuania for over 100 years. As part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it is committed to supporting people in need – regardless of their origin, religion or political beliefs.

With regional branches throughout Lithuania and over 1,000 active volunteers, the Lithuanian Red Cross provides rapid assistance in times of crisis, long-term support for refugees and asylum seekers, and programmes for psychosocial support, first aid training and social inclusion.

In close cooperation with public institutions, local communities and international partners, the organisation plays a vital role in strengthening social cohesion and promoting safety and humanity in Lithuania.
