The purpose of the Comradeship is the economic promotion and support of the members. The object of the company is to carry out customary banking and supplementary business, in particular the cultivation of the savings concept, above all by accepting savings deposits; accepting other deposits; granting loans of all kinds; assuming sureties, guarantees and other warranties, as well as carrying out fiduciary business and factoring, carrying out and arranging leasing transactions; carrying out payment transactions; carrying out foreign business, including the purchase and sale of foreign currencies and foreign notes and coins; asset advice, asset brokerage and asset management; the acquisition and sale as well as the custody and administration of securities and other assets; the brokerage or sale of building society contracts, insurance policies and travel; the acquisition and sale, development, construction, rental and leasing, administration and management as well as brokerage of real estate; the acquisition and sale as well as the operation of plants for the purpose of generating renewable energy (such as wind power, photovoltaic and biogas plants); participation in other companies and the establishment of own companies, provided that this serves to promote the members and is permitted under the German Banking Act; other business that serves the purpose of the cooperative. The cooperative may establish branch offices. The extension of business operations to non-members is permitted.
