What companies in Lithuania say about vocational training to German standards

„Working with automotive electronics, we're constantly faced with continuous changes in new technology and processes that need highly qualified, well-trained employees. That's why we're so dedicated to giving our employees the best training and support we can. Inspired by Germany’s dual education system, we’ve adapted it to meet our industry’s needs – helping us grow the next generation of talent and ease the skills shortage in the automotive industry. Our partnerships with vocational schools and focus on hands-on learning make it possible to connect theory and practice. This approach reflects our industry‘s commitment to quality and to building a strong future for both our team and the region.“

The skills gap that still exists in the labour market and the complex requirements of the economy are the two biggest challenges that need to be turned into strengths. The cooperation with the AHK and the establishment of a dual training system will increase the quality of skilled labour, improve their qualifications with tangible practical skills and form an excellent basis for cooperation with German companies.

"At Elinta Robotics, we are acutely aware of the growing shortage of skilled engineers — a challenge that directly impacts innovation and long-term progress. That’s why we place high value on Dual Vocational Training in Mechatronics for automatic systems, delivered in cooperation with dual vocational school. Two of our team members have completed this programme, gaining a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. We see this training model as an essential approach to bridging the engineering skills gap and equipping professionals with the expertise needed in today’s industry. Initiatives like this play a vital role in building a resilient workforce and shaping the future of technology."
