Employee Secondment

Many German companies fulfil orders in the Baltic states, for which some of their own employees are also seconded. However, there are various reporting and notification obligations within the EU that must be observed when posting employees. For example, it is mandatory to register the posting with the labour office of the respective country or to apply for the A1 certificate (social insurance).
