On 24 and 25 March 2025, the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics e.V. (BME) in 
 

Baltic German Chamber of Commerce (AHK Baltikum), the German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce (AHK Finland) and the Mainz Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Mainz) is organising the 1st Purchasing Initiative Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). This is a project-related funding measure as part of the market development programme for SMEs. The target group of the B2B event is primarily small and medium-sized German companies. 
 

The event will be hosted by the IHK Mainz. Together with the partners of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the BME is once again creating effective market access to a sourcing region that is becoming increasingly important. As with other purchasing initiatives, the focus is on the specific procurement needs and requirements of purchasing companies. The BME and the AHKs concentrate on the broad field of production materials, drawing parts and manufacturing expertise such as stamped and bent parts, castings, steel, assembly, plastics or welded parts. Suitable suppliers can apply according to the needs of interested purchasers.
