Young Energy Europe apmācības energoefektivitātes uzlabošanai savā uzņēmumā

Young Energy Europe is a project of the DIHK, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) as part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI). 

The aim of the project is to train so-called Energy Scouts, who are introduced to the topics of energy and resource efficiency, operational mobility and various sub-topics during a 4-day training course.

With the knowledge they have acquired, the participants have 3-4 months to come up with a project they will present to a jury. The presentation will take place in front of all participants to share the results and ideas and to make suggestions for further energy savings. As a result the projects will be implemented in the participant’s companies.

Upon successful completion of the Young Energy Europe programme, participants will receive an Energy Saver Certificate. The best projects will be rewarded.

Not just the Energy Scouts will benefit from the expertise they acquire over the course. There are also significant advantages for the companies: By implementing the projects developed by Energy Scouts, companies can sometimes achieve huge savings with relative few investment - and so contribute to climate protection at the same time. A win-win for everyone involved!

The training will be held in Latvia and takes place at Domus Foyer, Zunda 8, Riga by Riga Technical University  and Circular economy space “Sadarbnīca” in Riga, Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 145.  As in the past two years, participation is free of charge for all participants.
